So confused about student finance

I looked at student finance but had no idea how to apply. I'm 20 but will be 21 before uni starts. I have a baby so I don't know if that affects it. I'm English but will be going to a Scottish uni (if I get in) and will have lived in Scotland for 1.5 years before I start uni. I don't live with my parents, I live with DP and his mum. How the heck do I apply for student finance? Will I get loans/fees paid for etc? Please help Sad

I would call SAAS the student awards service for Scottish students and ask. If you go on their website there will be a phone number. They've been very helpful with any dealings my DD has had with them. I feel you should get your money from them and fees paid as you are a resident in Scotland but I am no expert!! I'd imagine you may also be eligible for other payments (bursary/childcare). Good luck!!

I thought you had to be resident for at least 3 years to be able to not have to pay tuition fees in Scotland.
