I will be soon. Two lots for my sins - A2 critical thinking and AS Religious Studies. Am I mad???? Still, the money comes in very handy eh?

I mark Higher Geography for the Scottish Qualifications Authority, scripts arrive 1st June, mrkers meeting 6th June then all hell for 3 weeks.

Its quite good fun if you get into it, but it overlaps with my college course for a week, so I am going to be going crazy!!

I'm marking ultra long creative writing scripts (poems, stories, radio plays) written by uni students who are reading science/maths/medicine. These are very clever people, but none of them are destined to be writers ever. . .so god yes it's demoralizing. At least a lot of effort has gone into most of thesethe students are drivenbut what a bore. You start to worry it's going to mess up your own writing.

Help but they are fat ones - going to take ages to mark!!!

Oh thank God^ DH is not doing it this year!
