can anyone recommend a good on line german dictionary?

I'm doing an online german course and am a bit frustrated with google's attempts at helping me translate some of the compound words - does anyone know of a good online german dic they have had success with?

I asked this recently and from all the online dictionary web sites I found thatLEOwas the best .
