Halsmere Studios, South London (student accommodation)

DS had a not-great first year at uni in London. Health issues and depression.

I really want him to have a more cheerful experience this next year and always felt his student halls last year were dreary, dirty and can't have helped. So, thinking of going with a privately-managed student residence this time round.

Have found Halsmere Studios (the company is called Collegiate) very conveniently situated for him and the website looks great. As it's a bit more expensive, wanted to see if anyone had any experience either of Halsmere Studios or of the company, Collegiate.

Or indeed any other suggestions regarding accommodation?

No first hand knowledge of these or any other halls. I did a bit of internet digging. (I am procrastinating getting to work on my essay.) it does seem quite hard to find information about specific halls. I couldn't find anything on The Student Room or trip advisor which surprised me. Eventually I found this. I don't think it's an independent reviewing site, but may useful and showed accommodation near by the Halsmere, with more stars and actual reviews.

Hope this helps. Back to my essay now.......
