Is going in to adjustment worth it?

Hi all,
My DS has done much better than expected, is it worth going in to adjustment and possibly not ending up with accommodation? He has chosen Psychology with Forensic Psychology and as far as I can see, no 'higher ranking' unis seem to offer this.

Is that still what he really wants to do? DS considered adjustment 3years ago, but then decided to take a year to reconsider his options. He then applied for a different course, and obv got unconditional offers, so much less stressful! Doing a lot better than expected can be surprisingly stressful!

Surprisingly stressful is right!! He has not considered taking a year out but I can see the merits of that rather than rushing in to a course that may be at a good uni but not what you want. A whole new world of possibilities has opened up that he has never considered.
