Do maintained schools pay the entry fees for admissions tests

such as STEP or do parents? I guess it might vary from school to school,but I just wondered if there is any legal requirement?

Parents pay. Parents also pay UCAS fee. Schools only pay GCSE and A level exam fees.

I think it depends. If the school has to make the exam entry & if they are the ones pushing pupils to apply they sometimes don't ask the pupils to reimburse them.
