Guess who just screwed up their first TMA?

Of course it is me.

It was due in on the 17th, so after dts went to bed I thought I'll have a wee faff about with it, make sure I am happy with the content etc. Only when I went to send it I had missed the deadline by 2 hours.

Oh sugar-honey-ice-tea.

So it probably won't get marked as the tutor is a bit, well, pedantic would be a good description. Poo on a stick. I am thinking the doubters who have always said someone like me shouldn't be in possession of a degree were completely right.

I'm off to bed, to hell with it!

If it's any consolation, after an entire year of maths, I missed my final (and compulsory plus no extensions) TMA because DD had an accident. I failed the course. I'd been at distinction up until then.

If it's the first TMA have a chat with the tutor - they will extend. Their main concern is that you don't get too behind.

CMAs are non-negotiable but you do have some flexibility with TMAs. Good luck with your course. I love doing OU (despite setbacks )

After all that he has said it is no problem.

We will see when I get the bloody thing marked.

I am almost half finished the next one as it is only two parts compared to 4 parts on all the areas of humanities that this was.

My main trouble is saying what I need in only 300 words! I am using nearly all my 10% word count leeway!
