Is it possible or practical to retake AS subjects that are all coursework (e.g. Art, Theatre Studies)?

Or can you retake just one module?
Ds only got a C for first AS art submission in Dec 14 - has been predicted a B overall for art AS - so assume that this second submission (April 15) was an A grade.... but he needs an A grade overall - so wondered if he could retake just the first Art AS assignment at the end of this year?

Similarly for Theatre Studies - could he just retake (if necessary) one unit e.g. the monologue?

He needs to speak to his teacher/tutor about this - it's most likely he will need to resit the qualification and start again unfortunately.

I can't think of anything else he could do.

Wouldn't it be better to ask all thee A/AS level questions in the correct forum, that is, Secondary Education, where you're likely to get better answers? This is Higher Education, which is after AS/A2 levels!
