DS wants to apply for a CDL to help him pay the rental on his flat for the rest of the (postgrad) academic year. We help as much as we can but can't stretch to this and presently he's only able to get a limited amount of paid work.
As far as credit checks on an application are concerned, he'd be fine but the form asks for details of where he's lived for the past 3 years. He was living away from home, at uni, but this has always been his permanent address and so perhaps he should put his home address down. Our credit rating isn't 100% - things are under control but there is a history. Might this affect the outcome of his application? Our address would be checked?
