Would it be worth writing a book on the sheer absurdities of thinking about the relevance of Taussig's theory of mimesis to early-modern India while forcing encouranging a three-year-old to eat his weetabix two seconds before we HAVE to leave for nursery if I have any chance of getting to my department meeting on time?
