Anyone know about how to find out about grants/charitable trusts?

I am retraining, and money is seriously tight. I filled out an online form once which was brilliant, really specific, ie you could specify your background, current profession, the one you are working towards entering etc and it set you up with ideas of possible charities that may offer grants. Anyone have a link? Thanks.

There was an article in Daily Telegraph last week which, annoyingly, I can't find. Here is an old one and this is a useful website.

Turn2Us has a grants section, you can put in area details and search through lots of different grants.

Your local library might have a copy of The Educational Grants Directory or The Directory of Grant Making Trusts. You can also look at Associstion of Charitable Foundations website. Hope this helps, good luck.
