I've got another thread somewhere disappearing off the active convo's - but I'm really floundering here.

Got my first one-to-one with my NVQ Assessor tomorrow, have to provide my CV (don't have one!) and produce a 'self profile' (basically a page of blurb about me - nothing 'selling' myself - just, well just about "me" really - who I am, how old, kids, what I did before I worked where I am now, how I got into my current work etc etc etc).

I haven't got a clue what to write - how to write it - anything - and my meeting is at 10am in the morning so won't have time to do anything before I go.

I'm completely lost and don't even know how to start

Does 350 words sound like enough????

OP posts:
colditz · 09/08/2006 22:54

Really! i mean it! It's not an A level essay, and isn't expected to be anything like one. Stop worrying about it. Go to bed.

colditz · 09/08/2006 22:54

I have no ideas what 350 words looks like on paper so I don't know. Probably loads.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 09/08/2006 23:08

Can't go to bed yet - have to do a CV!!

Any courses etc

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 09/08/2006 23:27

oh bollox - finished my CV and it's only 1 side of A4 - it's not really enough is it??? And lots of that is made up of the 'layout' rather than writing [frown]

it was ok actually - he hardly looked at either of them - just signed the relevent form to say I'd got them (another part of the funding requirement) sigh*.

Still - I've got my first Unit Workbook to be getting on with - and I'll be seeing him again on the 4th September.
