Can I top up my diploma into a degree?

I did 2 years of my degree (English) then had a baby 1/2 way through my final year and suffered really badly with PND and anxiety. I just stopped communicating with my lecturers. In the end they offered me the chance to just graduate without completing my 3rd year and I left with a diploma of higher education.

Can I top it up? Baby is now 15 months and I have much better coping strategies than ever.

Any advice? Ideally I'd like to go on and do a PGCE.

Yes you may well be able to, particularly as you've left fairly recently. You'll be paying the higher fees of course, but get in touch with your old uni.

It might be possible at your local uni, but is is almost certainly possible with the Open University. I would have a chat with them as well.
