Dd wants to do a certain degree that is Australia, my instinct says that she won't be able to use UK grants and loans to do this. Where can I find out this info?

She can't.

I don't know if Australia's version of student finance would help either.

If she wants to go to the EU she can apply for loans / grants whatever as a local.

If she spent a year abroad in Australia as part of a uk degree she would get UK grants and loans but not if she did her whole degree there.

Thanks you've confirmed what I thought!

And she would be charged foreign student fees. Which are much nearer the actual cost of a degree.

And Australia is expensive now -- Sydney is as expensive as London, New York, or Tokyo.
