Littlemiss you don't get council tax reduction as you're only studying part time, you have to be in full time - so at full time uni - to qualify. The NUS card is good though.

I'm just doing my EMA for my second course for BSc Psychology. I start DSE212 in February. It's been hard at times as I found out I was pregnant with DC4 just after starting my first course, I have 4 DCs - 5.5, 4.5, almost 3 and 11 months and DH works long hours. It gets a bit stressful around deadlines but is manageable.

If full time ou, you do qualify though, i think? :)

I'm starting Intermediate German next week. EEEP!

BitBewildered · 23/09/2013 13:00

I'm about to start an English Language and Literature degree. littlemissnormal it sounds like we're doing the same module - AA100?

littlemissnormal · 23/09/2013 19:05

Yes, I've started having a look through the first assignment info about Cleopatra and I'm excited but scared!

BitBewildered · 23/09/2013 20:57

I've done the things suggested here but nothing much else yet. I did an openings course last year and really enjoyed it, so am feeling more relaxed this time round. My tutor then made a huge difference to how competent I felt, so I hope whoever I get this time is as helpful and supportive.

I might look through the assignment book later. I'm not sure I want to burst my confidence bubble.

Finally applied for my NUS card today! I am a student!

Yes I am, reading for a Bachelor of Laws. I am waiting for my books to come and tomorrow I will be clearing a shelf to set up my Study Station Smile

Study stresses me right out so I am feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension atm.

HolgerDanske · 24/09/2013 00:05

Oh yes, I need to get my NUS card too!

SouthernComforts · 24/09/2013 00:16

Hey. I start my next module - psychology - in October. I'm studying for a degree in Business leadership and management.

Still waiting for the results of my last module but pretty sure I've passed so looking forward to carrying on.

How did you get on with the first TMA BitBewildered?

Geckos48 · 04/12/2013 15:11

Hi, I am going to finish my degree with the OU and am starting in February!

I am doing an open degree but bsc pathway and will hopefully go on to do a masters somewhere afterwards. I am so excited!

strongandlong · 04/12/2013 15:16

Oo coming in late to this. Like Snowflake's DH, I'm in the final year of my MBA. Not easy on top of FT work and 2 smallish DCs, but the end is in sight now!

How's everybody getting on with their courses so far? Despite my promises to myself that I'd get ahead early on, I am (again!) behind :(

First tutorial on Saturday, so that should help...

Good luck all.
