I am currently on a access course, if i have failed one assignment will i fail the whole course??

You need to ask your tutor. My access course is separated into mandatory units and optional units. We do more units than the 60 required to pass the access course, so we can get away with failing some units. However, a few of the units are mandatory. These have to be passed to pass the course, so if you fail these, then you fail the course.

Your access course should make it clear which units are mandatory and which are optional. I would suggest emailing or going to see your personal tutor.

Often, if you fail a unit on an access course, you can resubmit it. However, your grade will be capped at a pass for that unit. If you fail your resubmission, then it cannot be taken again.
