Birkbeck University ? How good is it..

Thinking of applying to Birkbeck for a Masters programme, i don't know much about it so would welcome any views from people with experience, quality of teaching, links with industry etc.

I did an MSc. at Birkbeck year ago - there were some non British people on my course kladjdi although the part time nature if the course (masters degree over 2 years instead of 1) meant most people were already resident in or around London for work. Most people were working full time while studying, a few were combining family responsibility and study.

What makes you think it would be hard for non English people specifically? I'm afraid I know nothing about visas.
