I received an email from the Student Finances place (or so I thought) and I forwarded it to DD2. It said that she needed to check her details, or she would not receive her money. She did as it said and then she became suspicious she contacted student finances and was told that it was a scam. She now has to change her bank account and wont have her student finances go in until all new details are processed and set up!!

I know I was stupid to pass it on to her, but I just did not think. Make sure none of your DCs do it, it has messed up the first few weeks for DD now with no money, rent needing to be paid etc.....

Student finances have been brilliant, though and are doing all they can to help her.

Gosh, what a nightmare!! Thanks for the warning.

I have just texted DS, and suggested he let his friends know too. Sad
