for a stress free life would be muchly appreciated.
Im a single parent that is about to go back to college. I have 3 daughters. Two of which are quite demanding. They dont sleep and my fault I know have to settle them until their asleep. They alternate waking through the night about 3 times each.
My one is a very fussy eater. I mean stupidly fussy!
My eldest is at college but relies on me for a lift on her late night. Also lifts to and from work as there are no busses that run to the services.
I am also looking to work part time. This I have no choice as Im trying to keep our home.
They go to tap classes and a club once a week.
As well as all this I would like some me time for exercise.
Any single parent students out there?? Any tips would be welcome

Give up housework

Something will have to give.. or you will be too knackered to do your best.
Eldest..can she look into getting a lift to or from her college herself? Assuming she is an older teen, there may be drivers.

Fussy eater.. give up the battle for now (I say this as a parent to a TERRIBLE fussy-extremely underweight child).. make the simplest meals she will accept and back away. Eventually she will eat more..honest.
Tackel the sleep now. Warn the neighbours you are sleep training and face a few nights of extreme hell doing controlled crying/check and return. It is honestly worth it if you are absolutely consistent it works. (again did it with 2/4 of my children.. it was hell but the results were worth it)

Forget housework Grin
If you can get a a state where you are getting sleep, you'll probably have the energy to exercise.... is there and adult tap class? They are seriously fun!

I reckon it's doable but you need to get your little ones sleeping in order to enjoy it!

Thanks.
Im not sure what we can do about lifts, I will still have to as there is noone else to do it.
The sleep thing is the hardest as I need this sorted, its very stressful.
When I separated from my soon to be husband. Our routine went to potts, for lots of reasons.
I know wha you say about housework, but if my house isnt clean and tidy I cant function. Sorry always been the same.
Thanks for tips, the bedtime routine is my first on my list!
