A levels results - which subjects do students overall do better in ?

anyone know where i can find out which A Levels subjects achieved better results overall.

On an individual level, it's the ones they are most interested in. If they are genuinely interested in the subject, then they will be motivated to work harder and so they will do better.

On a national level, the BBC publishes some stats. However, they can be extremely misleading - Further Maths records some very high grades - not because it's easy but because all the candidates are bloody good at Maths! www.bbc.co.uk/news/special/education/11/exam_results/a_levels/html/all_subjects.stm

I don't think that question is answerable. I thought they modified the scores so that the correct proportion get into the grade boundary.
Also why do you need to know? A student will do best in a subject they are interested in, that is taught well at their school and that they are supremely gifted at Grin
