She's home from first year at uni now and got her results yesterday before she left.
I know "the first year doesn't really count" and all that.........
But she got a FIRST!!!!!!!
She's had a fabulous year all in, clearly she's studied "enough" but has partied and made great friends, and helpd a choral scholarship that she has thoroughly enjoyed and earned her a small bursary too (and sneakily for me, has made sure that someone noticed if she stopped turning up for stuff, or was too trollied to get up on Sunday morning regularly as well)
