Early Childhood Studies degree

Looking for advice really ? I have just finished my degree in Early Childhood Studies and while I was expecting to go into teaching, after a year spent in a primary school I have decided it is not for me.
I am desperately trying to look for jobs, but feel a bit lost as to what I can do with my degree. I am interested in routes into social care?
Any advice would be great (I have to wait until an appointment comes up from the careers advice at uni ? seems other people are confused too!)

Hi I have done a foundation degree in Early Years. I really feel drawn to social work, at the moment I dont know whether to get the full Ba in Early years then do a 2years masters in social work, or draw a line under it and start at the beginning and do a Ba in Social work.
Do you feel you have done enough studying ?
