Hi all,
I'm currently a stay at home Mum after spending the past few years in work (research assistant for national newspaper) and then stay at home Mum before that for a few years and ten years before that worked in marketing.
I would love to train as a counsellor and I want to know how much this will cost roughly and if I'm doing a part time course, how many days/hours a week will be involved? Has anyone here done this?

My local FE college does courses, why don't you start by investigating yours?

Completely depends on what sort of counselling you want to do - psychotherapy is 4 years minimum, but you can do a basic counselling course in a weekend. A long haul if you want to be accredited though.
