Feeling hopeless at the moment - aarg

Until this afternoon I assumed that I am going to start the my BSc Banking and Finance degree at the UoL International Programm. My already 'accepted' application was rejected because the admission team made a mistake and all they could offer me was to get some 'further qualifications' to start the course next year. Now, I am working 12h a day Monday to Friday, so all I can do is to study by distance learning. They said I could do 60 credits at OU, one Mathematics focused course and another course that I can choose.

I am feeling so hopeless now, because it will take me another year and I am wondering if my tuition fee loan gets accepted etc. I will be a year older unless I will do the BSc full-time. I might get the Maths course credits counted towards the BSc which would help a little bit (Could study 90-90-120 credits then, meaning I can take the last year off work and concentrate on the degree.)

Puh, sorry for the long post but I feel really hopeless at the moment.
Is anybody studying at OU and can tell me how their support is?

Well, a 60 point OU course has 15 hrs of study recommended per week.
Do you need to do a Level 1 course?

Yes, 60 credits at Level 1.
