considering doing this course but want to know what the job prospects are. Do employers warm to this course...especially to teach in upper secondary instead of a PGCE? Is it in demand for Adult Teaching?

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Do you already have any other qualifications such as PTTLLS and are you already teaching in that sector ? I don't think it can be used instead of a teaching qualification in schools as it is aimed at those teaching adults, so primarily FE or Adult Ed. A lot of tutor work is sessional rather than long term in the latter. Having said that the basic skills area likely to be the subjects to continue to be in demand.

It is in demand if you want to do FE. All the lecturers at my college have to take it if they don't have any other teaching qualification. Getting the teaching hours in place in order to do the course is the hardest part -
