Thanks, the baked potato idea sounds really good and easy! As does breakfast!
I am feeling a bit tired what with working and all. I don't mind the mornings because I like getting up early and watching the dawn but the evenings are a bit tiring because I want to flop. Then when the dc finally do come home with stars in their eyes I am happy but feel so inadequate for feeling tired. As if somehow I should have managed my life better so as not to feel tired. Anyway thanks for the answers, I'm not dreading the weekend quite so much now! Xmas Smile

Everybody flops this time of the year. Unless you are young free and single!
All our DDs and DSs are a lot younger than us. You were once like them! I was Grin. We grow up and cope.
BTW if they are doing a huge fry -up. Make sure that they agree to clean the cooker afterwards. (Been caught out and is a bugbear).

Well DD2 went back to Kingston yesterday. Most of her friends are up there now. She only had a couple of nights out over the holidays. DD2 and her DH took
took her back. So we haven't got to
do the drive to London this year. Much to DD3's disappointment. House is now vert quite again. I enjoyed Christmas but also found it a bit sad as everyone's growing up and it wasn't quite the same. xxx

Well the Christmas break was over very quickly. DS1 returns to Uni tomorrow and DS2 starts his first set of AS exams on Monday.

How's everyone else?

Yes they are all fleeing the nest again, dd went back at the wknd to a horrible mess , mold on walls ( uni accomodation) and a housemate who had used everbody's plates , glasses, pans rather than wash their own. The fridge was rank and dd and dh spent over an hour sorting it out. Poor dd had to set to the washing up the next day as she did not want her friends to come back to the mess she did. She knows who it was and left their stuff for them to do. I have told her that at Easter she will just have to put all her stuff in her room. Ds goes on Thursday and then it will be back to normality.
