What distance learning institutions have you used and would recommend?

I would like to do some studying but I'm not sure what to do. It has to be distance learning. I've looked at the OU but I'd like more practical courses. Is icslearn any good? They seem to offer lots of useful courses.

Any advice gratefully received!

NEC is good and they do lots of courses.

I've done a number of distance learning things. The gold standard (and hardest) was the OU.

I have done ou and my husband did nec. Both good
