I have a bit what do you want to know?

sharbie · 06/05/2011 17:28

oooo thanks harlot

ds has applied for and been accepted by an IT academy who are paying him for 20 weeks training.he has done 1st yr at 6th form and is planning on taking as levels only and then maybe uni after the IT.apparently the academy have a really high success rate at helping to find their graduates jobs.

what do you think?

Is the academy part of a higher ed. college or a private company? What qualification will he get from the IT academy because he will need 'A' levels to get to university.

Sorry for all the questions. I have heard of someone who is being paid to do an IT training held at the local tech. college but I don't think it would be a help for university application. The person I met was 18 and had left school at 16 with very little in the way of qualifications

afaik it is a private co - the qualification you get has ucas points so think it will count towards uni
