Hi i am currently doing some research for my final major project, I am putting a book together to help potential student mums get into futher education. I would like to add some positive experiences from other mums to encourage and support them.

What made you want to go back to education?

Did you find the university supportive once they found out you had children?

How did you cope with childcare?

How did you cope with the workload juggling the children with house work, cooking studying and exams?

Were your friends and family supportive of your decision to go back to education?

And finally now you have finished your course was it worth it and what are you doing now?

Thankyou for your time.:)

Im doing an ou postgrad conversion so it may not count... but I work, have 3 dc (one with ASD) and do my course. Somehow it fits together!! I've recently had an extension, agreed straight away by the tutor as it's the child with ASD and the diagnostic process that has held me up so my work was a bit behind schedule, usually it all fits together very well as my children are in bed by 7.30 and I can get on with my studies :) The course is so I can be an educational psychologist "when I grow up" Grin
