Well like the title says, tell me about nursing and how I go about starting down this road. I would have to do an access course I assume. I've got 11 GCSE's and 2 A/S levels and 1 A level. Wish I'd worked harder but no point in regrets now. I'd be classed as a mature student.

Yeah i think u might need access course as it usually requires 2 Alevels.
Jobs in nursing at min r none existent, hard 3 or 4 yrs ahead for little rewards.
You'll have to work hard, nights, wkends, early starts, late finishing.
U need to order uni book, UCAS type - in nursing called NMAS if they still do seperate one, it was 5 yrs ago i did mine.
That states all the uni's and college's which do nursing, see which type of nursing at which place, some dont do them all and mainly just do adult branch. And it'll tell u what qualifications u need specific to that uni for that course. Some require maths and science GCSE above C etc and others r less strict.
U need to apply, wait several months, get interviewed at each uni, the process differs with presentations and written tasks to lectures and a ten min interview. Then they'll let u know, no neccessarily at same time, can be months apart so u need to have a good idea of where you'll accept etc.
HTH!
