my ds has asd - talking to the school, apparently there is a lot as standard across all uni's, certainly when investigating what there might be, it seems that most have a senco equivalent and do things like social support. The school senco made the point that for him distance from home will be key, e.g. it might be good for him to keep some stability and know, e.g. that he can travel home once a week for a meal - so I am hoping he won't be more than 1.5 hour's away -
trying to do this without swamping him, just looking out for his best - tricky balance!!
