Considering a Masters in education...any advice?

I have just started working part time as a teacher after having my DD. When she goes to school, I would like to keep working part time and study for a masters. However, this is just an idea at the moment, and would be grateful for any advice!
Any course recommendations, practical advice etc?
Thanks.

When did you do your PGCE? You might be able to transfer some credit from that to your masters if it's less than 5 years ago. Also, talk to the CPD bod at your school - there's every possibility they'll pay sone or all of your course fees. If that's the case they should have an arrangement with your local uni about doing it. Good luck!

I did my PGCE in 2000, so probably too long ago! I know my school has already contributed to putting two people through their masters and someone else has just started theirs. My head is very supportive of CPD. Thanks Pottering.

I'd go to a good local Uni - you'll need access to the library so I doubt you'd want to travel too far
