HELP! UCAS letter received in last 10 days

Has anyone else received one? DS1 received a letter and a magazine (in a plastic bag). We didn't open it as he was away, and now he's back the letter seems to have disappeared!

In case it was something absolutely crucial, can you tell me if you had one/what it said?

We haven't had anything.

The universities received the A-level results yesterday. UCAS wont know anything before results day itself, and when they do, it will be on the 'Track' service.

I suspect it was probably just a general letter talking about the tracking service.

They can log onto Track on Thursday at 6am to find out if their first choice has given an offer.

The letter may have been about clearing. I received (as a parent signed up on the website) an e-mail about this very recently. Nothing in the post though for DS (but he is on gap year so is sorted).

It would have probably be about tracking and the clearing process. It might have had a nunber for your DS to put in when he is going through clearing that's what DD2 had to do a couple of years ago and everything about the process was ion a pack like your DS seems to have had, Don't worry if you need clearing you or he can ring the UCAS helpline and theyll explian it.

I got a magazine from UCAS giving loads of advice on how to be a student :) Was it that? No letter with it - just a random posting I think.

I had a magazine from UACS.

Not bothered to open it....
