Baby nests, are they any good?

My newborn only likes to sleep in my arms. As soon as I put him in his Moses basket or next to me cot he starts crying. I’m looking for some type of Sleep safeBaby nest that I could get him to fall asleep in and then just transfer him in the nest into the cot For a seamless transition. Has anyone got any recommendations? Or any advice in general on how to manage my needy little baby 🩵?

The Lullaby Trust considers them a SIDS risk and advises against them.

The only way I got any sleep was to cosleep. Have a read up on the Safe Sleep Seven. I also used an Owlet sock for peace of mind. Plus the UK Cosleepers Facebook page is great for advice on safe setups.

I never thought I'd cosleep, but it saved me.

Thank you, I never thought I’d co-sleep either but I think it will be the only thing that might save my sanity so I will look into safe co sleeping and the owlet sock is a good idea! X

Another one to say those nests aren’t at all safe, I’m afraid.

Our midwife recommended co-sleeping and the safe sleep seven to us on the day 5 visit and it has worked brilliantly.
