Stokke Tripp Trapp too small for 6 month old?! Clikk a good alternative?

We are looking for a high chair for our 6 month old DD. We recently bought a second hand older model of the Stokke Tripp Trapp with the baby safety rail attached but even when we moved the seat back it was very difficult to sit DD in the chair and to get her out again, as the rail kept getting in the way! Has anyone else had a similar experience?
DD is 91st centile for weight and tall for her age too.

We are thinking of buying the Stokke Clikk (a new one this time) as it is well-certified in terms of safety and is free of BPA, phthalates and other harmful substances. There don't seem to be many reviews of it online however (especially by the likes of by Which? or Mumsnet) and so I would be interested to hear of others' experiences of the Clikk,

All comments gratefully received.

I should add that the Tripp Trapp model that we bought is the older model with the high back. Needless to say, we didn't use it with the newborn attachment (!!) It was with the leather strap harness.
