Red kite baby bouncer

I have debated putting this up but as I have friends who are expecting and some just had babies so here goes
we bought this bouncer chair at first had no problem but as our daughter got bigger and started kicking her legs it has cut the back of her heels as there is no padding on the frame underneath
now the place we bought it from are giving us a refund I can’t fault them

but the company red kite I am not happy with

at first very polite asked for photos and batch number ect then when they did get back to me (as apparently someone’s retirement is more important than a safety issue in a baby’s product)
they said it should of come with padding on the frame so we must of taken it of mistaken it as packaging (blaming us )
I can honestly say we didn’t but if they think it could be mistaken as packaging then I do believe it’s not appropriate padding
We have checked the instructions and in no pictures or in the instructions do they mention this padding at all
Mum guilt was horrible yesterday hearing my daughter screaming in pain and cover in blood in something we bought thinking it was safe
I can only talk for myself but I will not be buying any red kite product again
I’m still waiting my email with an apology

Sorry to hear this but I have to be honest, as for the cutting the feet bit? Is that the cause of the bleeding, because of your baby can touch the floor with her feet she sounds way to big for a bouncer! Do you mean where baby’s back would go/ the dipped part of the bouncer? If so the metal frame should definitely not be coming out of the fabric padding or not!

Ah - I think I may have red this wrong: DD feet are hitting the metal bar frame at the bottom of bouncer? How are babies feet hitting the underneath though? Bless her
