Have you planned anything for Mother’s Day yet?

Hey everyone, with Mother’s Day coming up on 15th March, I was wondering have you planned any gifts for your mum yet?

I always struggle because mine isn’t into the usual spa days or going out for dinner. She prefers simple, meaningful things.

Would love to know what others are getting this year 😊

MD is just a card occassion for me. Not a present and big fuss day. So no, not planned my card and stamp buying outing!

I tend to reserve physical presents just to Christmas these days, she just buys what she wants! Birthdays are usually some kind of experience (I’m taking her to the theatre this year), and Mother’s Day I just tend to include her in our Mother’s Day (usually a meal out) obviously pay for her, and get some flowers or something simple like that.

Mother’s Day planning is probably better put on the Chat board. Unless you have anything particularly controversial to say - in which case you might prefer AIBU.

I am neither gifted nor talented so I just write a card.

Nah I am neither gifted or talented and haven’t learnt the ability to fly to visit my mother unfortunately.
I dont see my mum on mothers day we celebrate when I see her in easter. Ive asked the dh for the bridgerton book set for mothers day though
