Pretty sure she isn't gifted and talented or anything, but today her teacher pulled me aside to tell me that they were keeping her work back (i.e. not sending it home at the end of term) and keeping it as an example of excellent reception work in case Ofsted come.
I just wanted to share. Like I say, I honestly do not think she is anything other than bright, but we have faced a lot of criticism for the way we do things, so I am feeling rather wonderful.
