My period has just returned after childbirth - I've been breastfeeding for a year so it's been a looonnnggg time.

I am currently getting through a ultra-heavy tampon every two hours... is this normal??!!
My period has never been this heavy before. Normally I survive on regular size. Does it sounds normal for first period back?

Sorry for tmi!

Thanks in advance.

I have always had periods like that. My first two days are so heavy that a Super plus leaks within an hour. Grim.

my periods before DD were usually like that and the first period after birth was pretty heavy too

How long have you been on, as the first 2 days were always the worst for me so it might settle down

Today is day 2 of 'horror flow' - hoping it calms a bit. THanks for advice - glad I'm not alone !
