stopping period coming before holiday?

I am on holiday 10 July. My period is due about then. Is there anything I can take to postpone it coming between now and then. I don't take the pill any more but if I did take it is it too late now?

I would just say cope with it...if you were on the pill then you could continue taking it, but to get a new scrip, you start on the first day of your period anyway?

i got it for teh same reason a few years ago. although i am not sure how long before your period is due that you have to start taking it. GP prescribes it, make an appt.

If you go to the GP now they will prescribe you norathisterone. It wouldn't be too late to start taking it in the next few days I'm sure.

When I broke my back I was obviously sent to hospital and my period had started as I was in my 7 day break on the pill. I just started taking the pill again as I was bed bound and couldn't cope with tampons and my period had stopped by the following day even though I'd only had one day of my period before stopping it.

Here says you start taking it 3-4 days before your period is due.
