I have been asked if I would like to be sterilised when I have a caesarian (10 days time).
This will be our 3rd child
I will be 41
We have no intention of having any more children
I have to have an operation after having dc3, the consultant has said that having any more children after the operation would be a very bad idea indeed.
Having it done during the caesarian, will apparantly make it a very simple procedure.
Has anyone been sterilised? Were there any negative side effects? I have had a google (normally a recipe for distaster!) but there doesn't seem to be any obvious ones, apart from people changing their mind about wanting children.
