wtf is going on with my hormones?

I am not pg. after last mc we have been ttc but not to the same degree. but... since the mc my hormones have been erratic to say the least. periods have been all over the place, unbelieveably heavy and painful one month (lasted over 2w) and light and barely there the next (lasted 2d) i have had mood swings the like of which i only experienced on clomid and spots to match. my period this month finished a week ago (was the short one) but i still feel pmtish (crying etc) and boobs are rock solid and huge. have done a hpt (paranoid much?) which was a definitive bfn. but wtf is going on?

Don't know but go to the drs or epu because it doesn't sound normal.

Could it be something very scary like molar pregnancy? It does sound like the heavy long period could have been a very early miscarriage?

the long heavy period was def a period. didnt feel like a cp and i had a bfn before it started. im just really worried now. i did think that maybe it was a cyst or something (am also getting sharp onesided pains, have been since last mc, varies which side - and left is tubeless!)

I haven't had an issues but my gp referred me for scan just because I had week long heavy periods so you def have a case to insist on a scan to have a look at what is going on. Endometritis could be a cause?

hmm, we are under a cons for rmc, should i call him or just go to gp?

I have no idea but you need to be scanned soon IMHO 2 week period is just not normal!

bugger. ok, will see gp in the morning. i keep asking dh if he has spiked my tea with clomid. thats exactly how i feel./ mood swings are epic

Perhaps you have conceived quads and your readings are so off the scale the pregnancy tests are coming back -ve

After I had a mc my periods were all over the place (one lasted 21 days) and I saw gp who said it sounded like I wasn't ovulating or something and did some blood tests (sorry this is a bit vague - was 4yrs ago).

In the meantime I started taking a herbal "remedy" called agnus castus which I believe is supposed to regulate progesterone production or something. Worked like a dream and I had a bfp on the day I saw gp for test results! GP was a bit though.

Might be worth looking into? I don't know for sure if it was the agnus castus that sorted me out but it was a big coincidence.

Your symptoms sound a lot worse than I experienced though so I do think you'd be best seeing your GP really.

thanks, have tried angus castus before, didnt really work for me. plus it really needs to be prescribed by a homeopath. will try to get a gp appt tomorrow.
