please can anyone help ,calm me down ..

im in a bit of a state with worry and anx ..

i suffer with health anx

i had pelvic ascan 2 years ago as was feeling bloated , pelvic pain and as i was worried had scan for reasurance , all was normal .

i was also diagnosed with IBS due to mt anx , (had tests done )

now im in a worry again , same on going bloating , mainly at night , flatter in morning , went to doc in a state again ....
and refured me for same scan again for my own peice of mind , still thinks its IBS ..
also hormone bloods and CA125 test .

im really worried i have OC ..cant stop thinking about it ..
has anyone ha or can help me calm down ..

PS my dads mum dies of a cancer of the womb in late 60s so im worried more that ever ..

winny popping pills is not the answer to lif'es worries. Facing up to them and coping, then ,moving on, is.

OP you simply need to take a few steps back and calm down.

I was being scanned every 3-4 months to check that my cyst ( and you have not even had a scan to show /not show anything there ) was not growing or was malignant. I had to live with that for months but did manage to put it out of my head MOST of the time, on the basis that I have a tip-top specialist and he thought it looked "okay"- but he wasn't taking any chances.

Please try to stop worrying and wait until you have a scan and then if thereis anything wrong you can worry!

I agree with you, peony, but they could help her while she's waiting for the CBT. IIRC she had some prescribed by the doctor and is too scared to try them.

i do have health anxiety issues and im sorry if
i have sounded so desperate ,and annoyed anyone i know what you are saying is right i have to address the anxiety , its just all got on top of me at the moment and i lost perspective on the situation ..

but i do appreciate your advice .
