i have suffered with cysts which started out as ovarian for the last few years. i now have had a total hysterectomy but am still getting them. these fill up with fluid, grow to over 16cm and affect my bladder with terrible symptoms by the pressing on it. i was told by my gynae that i would need another op but being as i have had 3 abdominal cuts, neither the consultant or myself are keen to do this. i was referred to a different area who did all of the scans and referred to a different gynae. His registrar said he thinks they will suction all of the fluid out and then in his opinion it wont fill up. I had this done yesterday and this is the 2nd aspiration i have gone through but this time i had it done under general. When the consultant came round, he said totally different things from the registrar and that he thinks it definatley will fill up and the only way to get rid is surgery but nobody is willing to do it. i wouldnt feel so bad but when it fills, it leaves me incontinent and affects my life a great deal. im inconsolable. has anybody had any similar problems.
