Is there a right moment in the cycle to come off CERAZETTE-it's making me feel so horrible.

I've been taking it for almost 4 weeks now. Got my period 4 days early 2 days ago and it's really heavy. I noticed 2 weeks ago that I'm irritated all the time. Last few days I've been feeling really anxious and sad.
DP euphemistically said that I had a 2 week PMS.
So...I am considering stopping and not taking the pill tomorrow.
I'll be on day 3 of my period. Is that a good time? Does it matter when you stop?

And second question- a poster said that she had panic attacks for a week AFTER stopping.

I have an exam in 8 days and would rather not have a panic attack then (was prone to them, not anymore, but last few days felt dangerously close to having one). So what was your experience -did you feel better right away? Or worse?

Thanks.

no, you can stop any time, as long as you have a plan for contraception otherwise. (eg if you're switching to a copper IUD it would be best to wait until after the IUD is in before stopping the pill to ensure continuous contraceptive cover).

Ok, great, thanks.

Can anyone tell me whether they felt better right after or worse (I have a lot of things on my plate this week, exam, family invasion- can't face that if I'll be suffering from a 'withdrawal')?

winny I've been on it for 4 weeks now too and absolutely hate it, I'm not making me irritated but it is really messing up my periods.

I'm stopping on friday.

Yes, I've been spotting non-stop, then the period came early...the doctor said to give it 3 months, but I'm not sure I'm up to it.

And I was so excited about it. Am still bfing so can't be on the regular pill.

I took this after DC1 and was pretty happy with it, however after DC2 it was a different story.
I had spotting that gradually got worse. The doctors at first decided that it could be due to something other that the pill. After 40 days plus of continous bleeding and discomfort, then scans and tests to check for any other nasties (all clear), I decided enough was enough and came off it.

Felt almost immediately better and haven't had any problems since.
