nearly 7 months old has a bluge above belly button! Help!!

Just been bathing my dd3 and i bath her with a few inches of water and lie her at the bottom of the bath. Well because now she can sit up she trys to lift her head up and when she was doing it a bluge was appering in the middle of her stomach.
Does anyone no if this is normal?? I dont remember seeing it in my other dd's, and i cant find anything on google, can sumone pls put my mind at rest thanks xx

It sounds like a hernia, you should pop her to the GP.

I agree - sounds like a hernia. Ds2 has one (and a very sticky out tummy button). We were told it's all fine, should sort itself by the time he's 1 blah blah and that was 3.5 years ago. Doesn't cause him any problems though.

thanks i thought that, but didnt want to take her to gp and be told it was nothin, as prev with other dd's. Thanks will get her booked in x
