How soon after giving birth can I have a cap fitted?

(On the same theme as Hoxtonchick's post)

Assuming I am not ripped to shreds and still feel like I've just delivered a horse, how soon (in theory) can I be fitted for a cap?

i think you can be fitted for a cap at your 6 week check.
