Help! I forgot to take my pill this morning..

I started cerazette a month ago. Was due to start new packet this morning but forgot to take it. Should I just take it now, or wait till tomorrow and start from there?

Look on the information leaflet. I think that you need to take other precautions for 7 days as well as taking it today (late) but you must double check the instructions.

If the delay was less than 12 hours, the efficacity of the pill is mauntained. So, you take the one you forgot and the one you are supposed to take- even if it means taking two at the same time- although in that case it would have been longer than 12 hours- then you need extra protection for the next 7 days.

Thanks all, I normally take it at 9am or 10am so I will take it now, and then again tomorrow am, and precuations for a couple of days. Haven't kept the leaflet but I knew mumsnet would have the answer!

How come I've always got away with it, I've always missed days absolutely hopeless with taking the pill. Been on and off it for 18 yrs can never got pregnant. Was only off it for 2 months clear and caught both times so I have good fertility? Doc told me I should take it same time every day but she agreed that you have to miss a good few days to change the cycle.
