incomplete dose of MMR given; worried about DS not being protected

Hi
went for Imms today and DS had three- Men C /HiB, PCV and finally the first MMR. The MMR needle went in and some went in the little arm and some squirted out getting me and the assistant in the faces! So he hasn't had all of it. The nurse was very dismissive when I asked. Will he get the cover? She said DS is supposed to have a second dose in three months anyway so he'll be OK then, but I am worried/cross that he'll get no protection from this incomplete dose given today.
Does anyone have knowledge of this they can share?
thanks

I reckon that I would talk to both HV and GP about it. There ought to be scope for him to have another jab sooner than 3 months, this has been administered before in times of outbreaks.

That said, and I'm not au fait with latest imms schedule, but if he's really going to get MMR again in 3 months, I personally wouldn't worry because there's evidence that immunity takes much better if they get it when they're slightly older, anyway.
