Dentists.. advice please. re dd's 2nd teeth.

Just noticed that one of dd's 2nd teeth is coming through .. but BEHIND the first set, ie the tooth hasn't come out yet..Iyswim.

Is this going to cause big problems?

Please don't tell me it will have to be extracted.

dd is 6.

dentist said we could wait and see if the front teeth fall out themselves... or they will need to be extracted.

I said to wait a bit.. just not sure how long tho..

Do extractions take place in hospital?
